The Beginning of a New Journey

In 1999, we settled in Clemmons, NC, embracing the adventure of a new home in a new country. Bit by bit, we found our footing, building friendships and growing more comfortable with our surroundings. We loved the rolling countryside, the proximity to both the mountains and the ocean, and the seemingly endless backroads waiting to be explored. Naturally, we took to discovering our new home the best way we knew how. Our Triumphs carried us through green valleys and winding roads, with the breathtaking beauty of the Blue Ridge Parkway as the highlight.

Eager for inspiration on where to ride next, we began searching for motorcycle magazines. We visited bookstores, expecting to find publications filled with touring ideas and route recommendations. Instead, we found mostly motorcycle reviews and product tests—valuable, but missing the kind of travel-focused content we craved. It was disappointing. Touring was such a big part of our passion; surely, we weren’t the only ones looking for something more. That’s when the idea first took hold. What if we started our own magazine?
