City Escape: Salem, Oregon

Let’s escape the city—the city of Salem, OR, that is. Twisties abound. 

The Beaver State capital is located along the Willamette River in Western Oregon. This route leads you up and down, twisting through the valleys and foothills of the Cascade Mountains to the east and rich farm valleys to the west. 

The tour begins west of the city and ascends wonderfully to the Silver Falls State Park. World-class roads are the hallmark of valley riding in this part of Oregon. 

The hills are leftover glacier mounds and rounds from the last ice age. Sweepers, tight radiuses, and beautiful views await you at every turn.
