RV manufacturer Airstream, known for its iconic “silver bullet” trailer design, is taking RV trailers to the future. The eStream is an all-electric concept travel trailer that’s poised to make RV travel both high-tech and sustainable.

At the heart of the eStream buzzes a high-voltage battery bank, powering everything from the drive-assist motor to air conditioning. That’s not a small feat, considering the trailer’s 22-foot floor plan can comfortably house four off-grid riders for two weeks. To charge the batteries on the go, the eStream’s roof is covered with solar panels. The trailer isn’t available yet, but we’re definitely following the project with interest.
