People Skills

People differ wildly. I’m not complaining. I prefer living in a world of not-mes. The existentialist writer Kurt Vonnegut wrote an essay about everyone having a special skill, and how a fulfilled life is found in discovering and doing what you do best.
Some people are passionate about numbers, and they become math teachers, scientists, or accountants. Others can run faster and jump higher, and they make lots and lots of money playing sports. Yet others have a penchant for plumbing and become urologists. Seriously—I once asked a urologist why he chose that field. He said, “I love the plumbing.”
