Join the Builder’s Best Motorcycle Show at BMW MOA 2026 Rally

Do you like customizing your motorcycle and showing it off—and maybe even winning a prize with it? You should enroll it in the Builder’s Best Motorcycle Show!

The second annual Builder’s Best Motorcycle Show will take place at the BMW MOA 2026 Rally in Essex Junction, VT, on June 11-13. The show aims to showcase motorcycle enthusiasts’ creativity and reward riders for their efforts.

Don’t let the BMW in the event name spook you. The Builder’s Show has two categories, one for BMW bikes and an Open Class for any other bike in existence.

To participate, BMW MOA is calling on builders to submit their motorcycles for the primary round. Registering and submitting your motorcycle is completely cost-free and open to everyone regardless of BMW MOA membership.

From these submissions, a select number of machines will be chosen to appear at the show in Essex Junction. Selected builders will receive:

  • Two complimentary passes to the full BMW MOA Rally
  • A 2026 BMW MOA Rally T-shirt and other swag.
  • An invitation to the opening night “Meet the Builders” party
  • Daily “Talk Back” opportunities to present your bike to the show crowd

The rally audience (not stuck-up judges) will elect the bike to receive the Best of Show award in both BMW and Open Class categories. The winning builders will receive a $1,000 cash prize.

Registrations for the primary round are now open. To register your bike and for more information, visit www.BestBikeShow.com.

The Builder’s Best Motorcycle Show was organized for the first time at the 2025 BMW MOA National Rally in Lebanon, TN. In the end, 18 bikes—ranging from BMW restorations built to factory standards to wacky customs no longer recognizable as any particular marque—competed for the grand prize. In the end, the BMW Class winner was Parker Zamarelli with an R 100 Bobber, while the Open Class win went to Daniel Mendoza’s Honda CB750.
