Americade 2026: Everything a Rider Could Want
Americade is North America’s premier all-brand motorcycle touring event, taking place at Lake George, NY, from Wednesday, May 27, through Saturday, May 30. This year’s festival features demo rides, tours, a vendor expo, boat cruises, rider training, a custom motorcycle show, seminars, a block party, riding games, Alonzo Bodden comedy shows, and more for all enthusiasts.
At the time of writing, brands scheduled to hold demos include Aprilia, Beta, BMW, Buell, Can-Am, CFMoto, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Indian, Moto Guzzi, Piaggio, Rewaco Trikes, Suzuki, Triumph, Vespa, and Yamaha. Most major motorcycling marques will be out on the most scenic rural riding routes.

The event’s guided and unguided tours through the Adirondack and Green Mountains are popular, from short to long rides, plus adventure rides for those desiring off-pavement challenges. The tours feature mountain vistas, covered bridges, famous lakes, historical sites, and riding at altitudes of around 4,000 feet, where the air is thin and the grandeur is thick.
All tour fees support the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation’s Ride for Kids or the Wounded Warrior Project. There is also a free poker run.

The vendor expo at Americade is a living catalogue of motorcycle accessories, apparel, and accoutrements. You can find tires, batteries, cupholders, liquids, and more. Meanwhile, jackets, helmets, boots, belts, baubles and other goods cater to riders, together with great coffee, beverages, and food trucks.
Americade even offers cruises on Lake George, which don’t require helmets or riding gear. If you have toured highways around Adirondack lakes, this is your chance for a new perspective of mountains surrounding the lake in every direction. Prepare yourself to be enraptured by this immersive experience, favored by Hudson River School artists of the 19th century.

The rider training and moto seminars are great ways to improve your skills and motorcycling knowledge. In the past, the seminars have covered riding techniques, group riding, long-distance planning, first aid, adventure riding, and riding in foreign countries. Fun motorcycle games add to the learning, allowing riders to challenge themselves in slow-speed riding competitions.
The annual custom motorcycle show features categories for all descriptions of bikes and countries of origin, plus the Uncommon Collective for the outrageous and undefinable. No touching, please. There’s also the Urias Globe of Death and precision cone course.

Comedian Alonzo Bodden will perform twice during the event, typically inviting everyone to be a costar during his shows. Be sure to ask him what he rode to Americade on, because some suspect he might have flown in. The biggest social event at Americade is the block party at the big-top tent on Canada St, featuring free music, fireworks, prizes, and food.
Numerous ticket packages for Americade’s four days are available to match every attendee’s interests.
