Harley-Davidson is inviting motorcycle enthusiasts to share the gift of riding this holiday season and nominate non-riding friends and family members for a chance to receive free training at the H-D Riding Academy.

The gift campaign, running from November 18 through December 31, will see the OEM awarding 500 riding classes to the lucky winners in addition to a $200 H-D gift card to use on riding gear.

As an additional bonus, the rider who nominated their friend will also receive a $100 gift card if their nominee wins a class.

“The thrill of riding with your best friend and reconnecting over a shared adventure is the gift that will always keep giving,” H-D Vice President of Marketing, Theo Keetell, said in a statement.

“From backroads to coastal highways, motorcycle riding offers open-air exploration to free your soul and sense of adventure.”

Riders can nominate their chosen friend or family member on Twitter or Instagram. To be eligible for winning, participants must share their favorite personal H-D motorcycle picture, tag or mention the non-riding nominee, and use the #GiftOfRiding and #Giveaway hashtags in the post.

The H-D Riding Academy’s New Rider Course is offered at select H-D dealerships. Students will take theory classes and learn the basics of riding before hopping on a bike at a practice range.

According to H-D, the course will teach a new rider the necessary basic skills in only a few days.
