Mustang Super Touring Seat Available for Older ModelsGetting comfortable on a motorcycle can be especially challenging for those who fall into the “big and tall” category. For these riders, as well as those simply wishing for a bit more room, Mustang’s Super Touring Seat moves the rider further back on the motorcycle resulting in additional leg room and more comfortable reach to the handlebars. The seat has been a hit with owners of Harley-Davidson FL models made over the last few years, so now Mustang is introducing the seat for older bikes. These include 1997-2007 Road Kings, 1997-’05 Screamin’ Eagle editions, 2006-’07 FLHX Street Glides, and ’97-’07 FLHT/FLTR models. The Super Touring Seat measures 19-inches across for the front seat and 14-inches across for the passenger, and even though it’s a one-piece design it still works with the stock rider backrest (Mustang also has an aftermarket kit available). The seat is contoured to ensure clearance for opening and closing the bike’s saddlebags. The Mustang Super Touring Seat retails for $489 ($509 with chrome or black pearl studs).
