New Breakout from Harley-Davidson

New Breakout from Harley-Davidson If you found yourself coveting last year’s Harley-Davidson CVO Breakout, but couldn’t quite come up with the $26,499 required from raiding your pockets and couch cushions, you’re in luck. The Motor Company has just released a standard version of the Breakout and it comes in at a relatively affordable $17,899 (in black). Though the new model foregoes the CVO (Custom Vehicle Operations) treatment and gives up a few cubic inches of displacement to its big brother, it none the less offers similar style for much less coin. In place of the CVO’s 110 cubic inch Twin Cam engine, the standard Breakout makes do with the 103 cubic inch version. It also receives less chrome, standard paint, and cast aluminum wheels. And that’s where the dissimilarities pretty much end as the standard Breakout’s dimensions and specs virtually mimic those of the premium model, right down to the fat 240 mm rear tire. Harley’s security package featuring ABS and a security system, though standard on the CVO, is a $1,195 option.
