Primarily known for their high-end riding gear sold under the KLIM brand name, Teton Outfitters, LLC is heading under the corporate umbrella of Polaris Industries. Though details on the terms of the agreement are not forthcoming, we do know that the KLIM brand will be added to Polaris’ parts, garments, and accessories (PG&A) business. Steve Eastman, vice president of Polaris’ PG&A department, said of the acquisition, “Adding an outstanding brand like KLIM, whose strengths complement our existing business, gives us a more complete PG&A product lineup, one which will flourish in the global market. We are excited to welcome KLIM employees into the Polaris family. With our common culture and vision, we believe this will be a mutually beneficial partnership for everyone involved.”

Polaris now plans to create an apparel “Center for Excellence” at KLIM’s Rigby, ID production facility. Polaris will retain the facility’s current staff while bringing its other apparel lines in to benefit from KLIM’s expertise.
