After 248 days and more than 40,000 miles the motorcycle expedition Discover Our Earth finally arrived in Mieming, Austria, the headquarters of Edelweiss Bike Travel, on July 25. The expedition set off from Austria in November 2010 with more than 30 participants from several countries. It was conceived by Werner Wachter to celebrate 30 years of Edelweiss Bike Travel, and GlobeBusters helped with logistics. The trip was the first time motorcyclists were offered a true circumnavigation of the world. A second Discover our Earth, which will be bigger, longer and include more countries, is in the works. Stand-alone expeditions to one of the six sections are also available. For more information, visit
