Willie and Max Revolution Series Saddlebag

When we received Triumph’s impressive Thunderbird cruiser, it had no luggage. That’s fine for the boulevard types, but we tend to aim for strips a few states over. Fortunately, the folks at Willie and Max provided a quick fix for our storage dilemma.

The Revolution Series Saddlebags are designed with cruising machines in mind and their latest styles and ease of use suited our ‘bird to a T. The Revolutions are available in both hard mount and throw-over versions, but for our multi-bike needs, we chose the more universal throw-overs. The bags come equipped with reinforced yokes that can be laced together in numerous configurations to fit nearly any application either above or below the seat. Reusable zip-ties are included for an extra measure of security. Another nice feature is the stiff plastic backing that helps add extra stability while underway. This also ensures the bags keep their shape even after a good soaking or two. Unfortunately, they’re not waterproof; so keep unexpected showers in mind when choosing liners. Stout plastic closures hidden beneath shiny chrome buckles offer easy access for quick loading and unloading.

And because looks are an intrinsic part of the cruiser experience, Willie and Max offer three distinctive new styles in the Revolution Series. Riders can choose from Grommet, Swooped, and Studded designs. With more than enough room for a long weekend for two, or just added space for the soloist, the Willie and Max Revolution Series Saddlebags are an inexpensive way to create your own touring cruiser.
