2019 Indian Roadmaster Elite motorcycle

Indian Motorcycle’s newest premium touring bike, the 2019 Roadmaster Elite, is loaded with luxury features and includes snazzy custom paint. Promising the ultimate riding experience, the American manufacturer is releasing just 200 of the bikes worldwide.
The luxurious machine is a real looker. Each bike’s hand-finished custom paint job—Wildfire Red Candy over Black Crystal paint, with 24-karat gold leaf badging—takes 30 hours to complete. New amenities include an upgraded stereo system. The 600-watt PowerBand Audio Plus system was designed to deliver clear sound quality in every riding condition. It has fairing, trunk, and saddlebag speakers that are 50 percent louder than the 2019 Roadmaster’s stock audio system, and a nine-band equalizer that compensates for road, wind, and engine noise. Among the other extras are leather passenger armrests, spacious rider and passenger floorboards, a premium touring console, and chrome accents.

The 2019 Roadmaster Elite also has the powerful Thunderstroke 111 motor, producing 119 lb-ft of torque, plus Indian’s latest ride-enhancing technologies: selectable ride modes, rear cylinder deactivation, and Ride Command. The three ride modes—Touring, Standard, and Sport—allow you to adjust the throttle response to fit your riding preference. Rear cylinder deactivation kicks in when the bike is at standstill, whenever the engine is at operating temperature and the ambient temperature exceeds 59°F; this means less engine heat and a more comfortable ride for rider and passenger in slow-moving or stalled traffic. The rear cylinder reactivates when throttle is applied. Indian’s Ride Command system has a 7-inch, Bluetooth- and glove-compatible touchscreen that features turn-by-turn navigation and customizable rider information screens. It pairs with the manufacturer’s Indian Motorcycle Ride Command mobile app to provide remote accessibility to vehicle information. The system allows you to plan a route with up to 100 points on the Ride Command website and then wirelessly transfer it to the bike.

Other premium touring amenities, which are found on all Indian Roadmasters, include full LED lighting, leather two-up touring seat that’s individually heated for rider and passenger, heated handgrips, anti-lock brake system, keyless ignition, push-button power windshield, a trunk roomy enough for two full-face helmets, more than 37 gallons of storage space, and weatherproof, remote-locking saddlebags.

If that’s not enough, the 2019 Roadmaster Elite is upgradable. Performance upgrades include a new Stage 1 Exhaust, a Thunder Stroke Stage 1 Performance Air Intake, Thunder Stroke Stage 2 Performance Cams, and the 116ci Stage 3 Big Bore Kit. There are also comfort and style accessories, like a mid-rise handlebar, a new color-matched open fender, and 19-inch front wheel.

The MSRP for the 2019 Roadmaster Elite starts at $36,999. The bike is available at Indian Motorcycle dealers.
