Alonzo BoddenRoadRUNNER is very excited to welcome special guest and comedian Alonzo Bodden to the Touring Weekend this year. He will perform a stand-up set for our group (registered attendees only) on Friday, August 12, at 8:30 pm in the Chestnut Auditorium at the Antiochian Village.

Alonzo’s first big break came when he appeared on the “New Faces of Comedy” showcase at Just for Laughs in Montreal. First introduced to America on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” where he won Season 3’s “The Best of the Best,” he’s also known for his social and political commentary and is a regular voice on NPR’s “Wait Wait … Don’t Tell Me.”

He’s performed on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” acted alongside Steve Martin and Queen Latifah, had multiple Showtime specials, and currently hosts a podcast called “Who’s Paying Attention?”

You might also recognize him from his appearance in the motorcycling documentary Why We Ride. Alonzo is not only a well-respected comedian, but a well-respected car and motorcycle lover and expert who’s appeared on everything from CNBC’s “Leno’s Garage” to the Travel Channel’s “America’s Worst Driver.”

He’s traveled around the world entertaining USO troops from Iraq to Greenland and everywhere in between, and we’re honored to have him join us in Bolivar for the 2016 Touring Weekend.
