The DirtDAZE Adventure Bike Rally is happening June 7-11, 2016. A fun, educational multi-day festival for dual-sport and adventure motorcycles, DirtDAZE’s inaugural event will be held on private property in Lake George, NY, with nearby dirt roads that snake through New York’s Adirondacks and Vermont’s Green Mountains.

DirtDAZE has recently added a series of award-winning instructors and performers to its itinerary:

Jimmy Lewis Off-road Riding School

Jimmy Lewis and his Off-Road Riding School from Nevada will be offering special two- and four-hour classes. Jimmy typically offers full two-day classes for $600, but DirtDAZE’s two-hour introductory classes will be just $95. Limited to 15 people per class, riders will learn from Jimmy and his team in a personal environment.

Jimmy Lewis and his wife, Heather, are the chief instructors of the Off-Road Riding School. The overall winner of the Baja 1000 and the Dubai Rally, Jimmy was also a Dakar podium finisher and a former Off-road Editor for Cycle World and Dirt Rider.

Chris “Teach” McNeil, Freestyle Motorcyclist, to Perform

Attendees will also have a chance to watch famous freestyle motorcyclist Chris “Teach” McNeil in his element. Teach is multidimensional rider with extensive dirt background. A two-time XDL East Coast Champion and 2008 Stuntwars World Champion, he has been on the podium in virtually every competition he’s entered in the past seven years. He will perform Saturday, June 11.

Advanced Rider Coaching with Mike Lafferty

Mike Lafferty is one of the top enduro riders in the history of the sport (8x’s National Champion, including 69 wins!), and he has kindly agreed to be a professional coach at DirtDAZE for a select group of advanced riders. This is a rare opportunity to learn from one of the best in the world.

Mike’s class is best suited to advanced riders on smaller displacement enduro bikes, looking for personal and informal coaching. Mike will focus on overcoming challenging riding obstacles in a slow speed and safe environment, and participants will receive extensive hands-on coaching throughout the two-hour class. Cost is $60 and space is limited.
