2015 Zero Models: Now With Longer Range!Zero has already made a name for itself as one of the major players in the electric motorcycle market, and it certainly doesn’t look like they’re going anywhere. The 2015 Zero lineup shows aggressive improvements to bikes that are already some of the best in their class. The 2015 Zeros now get up-spec Showa suspension components, Pirelli tires, and Bosch ABS. The biggest update, however, is to the bike’s battery packs, which the company claims now have 10 percent greater capacity over last year’s models. This yields a range of up to 185 miles of city riding or 115 miles at 55 mph (with Powertank). New wheels and a variety of ergonomic improvements round out the upgrades.

Richard Walker, Zero Motorcycle’s CEO says, “For 2015, we have further redefined the motorcycle experience by creating a lineup that delivers, quite possibly, the most seamless and pure ride of any motorcycle ever manufactured with no shifting, up to 106 pound feet of instant torque, and a host of new technical improvements that offer premium comfort and control.” The 2015 Zeros will arrive in U.S. dealerships in December.
