Tour Master’s Lawndale Leather JacketTour Master’s Lawndale jacket is a classically styled, high-grade, three-quarter length buffalo leather jacket. In addition to its attractive retro look, the Lawndale has many of the features expected in contemporary motorcycle riding gear. These include, front and rear zippered vents for flow-through ventilation on warm days, a quilted zip-out liner with removable sleeves, a main zipper closure with dual wind flap seals for cold weather riding, pockets for optional CE approved armor, an eight-inch jacket to pants zipper attachment, and foam padded shoulders and rotated sleeves for enjoyable riding.

I’ve had the Lawndale jacket for several months now and have logged over 2,000 road miles with it in various weather conditions. I’ve found the temperature comfort range to be from the low 80s (without the liner and all vents open) to the low 50s (with the liner installed and all vents closed). I also was perfectly comfortable riding in temperatures well below 50 degrees with my heated vest substituted for the liner. Even with the CE approved armor installed, the jacket proved to be supple and all-around nice to wear during long days in the saddle. Of course, part of the high comfort level is the result of using thinner buffalo leather versus a thicker gauge of cowhide, which would provide better crash protection.

During my travels, I received compliments from other riders about the jacket’s attractiveness and general classy looks. Overall, I’m quite pleased with Tour Master’s Lawndale jacket, particularly when riding with it in moderate and colder temperatures. The jacket also returns a good value to consumers for its asking price.
