The 2014 Indian ChiefWell it’s finally here. And, if you’re lucky enough to be at Sturgis, you’ve probably already seen it (as has RoadRUNNER’s Florian Neuhauser). But for the rest of us the cover is now off the 2014 Indian Chiefs. Though there’s nothing terribly surprising about the final product, it is certainly one of the most beautiful new motorcycles to debut in recent memory. The new Chief will come in three flavors, the Classic, Vintage, and the range-topping Chieftain. All three share the same six speed transmission and Thunder Stroke 111 engine, which is blessed with a healthy 119 pound feet of torque to go with an unspecified number of horses. The Classic starts things out at $18,999 with keyless ignition, ABS, cruise control, a nice leather saddle, and plenty of chrome. The Vintage adds a quick release windshield and those classic Indian soft, leather fringed saddlebags for $20,999. The Chieftain gets a fairing, driving lights, an electrically adjustable windshield, hard saddlebags, a Bluetooth enabled stereo, and a tire pressure monitor all for $22,999.
