RoadRUNNER’s BUCKET LIST ROADS: GREAT LAKES SEAWAY TRAIL What is It? A series of designated roads in Pennsylvania and New York, which closely parallel two Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence River through a region brimming with American history, splendid scenery, and cool breezes.

Scenery: Expansive views of lakes Erie & Ontario and the St. Lawrence River, 1000 Islands area, charming villages, 29 lighthouses, War of 1812 historical sites, the Seaway Trail Discovery Center, Boldt Castle, Fort Niagara, Antique Boat Museum, extensive waterfowl, Niagara Falls, Niagara Gorge, and more.

Curves: Limited

Traffic: Generally light except in larger towns & cities

Distance: 518 miles

Time Required: 3 to 5 days, depending on time spent at various stops

Technical Difficulty: Easy ride, not technical
