Dr. Gregory W. Frazier will be presenting at the Alaska Motorcycle Night in Chiang Mai, Thailand on February 16, 2011 at 6:30pm. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by and say hello, enjoy some BBQ (200THB) and a free slide show presentation and film about the first two motorcyclists to ride from Alaska to the “Lower 48.”

Slim Williams and John Logan, the first motorcyclists to ride from Alaska to the “Lower 48,” accomplished their amazing feat in 1938 on two BSA motorcycles. Their adventure took them over six months to complete, a motorcycle ride today that can be easily done in four to five days.

Dr. Gregory Frazier will present pictures and a film of their incredible adventure. “Dr. Greg” is a well-known author, writer and moto-journalist who has been recognized as “America’s #1 extreme adventure rider” for his five circumnavigations of the globe by motorcycle and numerous adventures. Over the span of nearly 50 years, he has covered more than one million miles of racing and riding motorcycles literally to the ends of the earth.

Alaska Motorcycle Night will be held at the new motorcycle themed Rider’s Corner & Bar Restaurant, located at 357, Moon Muang Road, on the inside corner of the moat. The Rider’s Corner has fast become the meeting point for serious motorcycle riders in the Golden Triangle area.  The price of the BBQ is 200 THB, and the evening presentation is free.  Space is limited and reservations are required.  To make reservations for this one-time event, or for directions and contact information, visit the Rider’s Corner at www.riderscorner.net.
