Event History

Established in 2006, the RoadRUNNER Touring Weekend is held each year in memory of the magazine’s founder, Christian Neuhauser. RoadRUNNER team members, subscribers, and anyone with a passion for motorcycles and for fun is encouraged to attend. This year we’re expecting around 500 participants from across the country. About Our Location

Maggie Valley is a small mountain town in western North Carolina and part of the greater Asheville metropolitan area. In recent years, it has become a popular motorcycling destination because of its easy access to great riding, including the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Tail of the Dragon. Maggie Valley is also home to the Wheels Thru Time Museum, which houses more than 300 rare, collectible, and vintage motorcycles.

The base for the Touring Weekend will be the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds. All group dinners and activities will be held at the RoadRUNNER Tent on site.
