HJC AC-12 Carbon Helmet

The AC-12 Carbon is HJC's top street helmet, featuring a lightweight carbon-fiber shell and other high-end touches at a very competitive price point. Key elements include an anti-fog face shield (AccuSight™), a tool-less shield replacement system (RapidFire™), and a fully removable and washable moisture-wicking liner (AquaTrans®). The first fitting of the helmet revealed some pressure points. But now that it's broken in, the helmet can be worn all day without discomfort. Different cheek pad sizes are available for a custom fit. The face shield is one of the best I've used and changing shields is so easy that I found myself doing it more frequently as conditions warranted. The shield could use one more open position between "cracked open" and halfway open on particularly hot days. The anti-fog coating worked great – better than it does on any other helmet I have owned.
