I have lived in several places, mostly due to my father being in the Army. I’ve lived in Oklahoma, Germany, New York, North Carolina, and Missouri. I’ve also traveled to quite a few other places, including Mexico. Although I resided in North Carolina for most of my childhood, my most vivid memories are of summer visits to my great-grandmother’s in New York’s Catskill Mountains. Most of my free time is enjoyed with family, friends, or my dogs. I’m the proud mother of two mutts: a one-eyed Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher and a codependent Pit Bull/Shar-pei.
I have many hobbies, including singing, photography, and writing music. I have sung since I can remember, although it was more like random babble when it first began. When I was a child, I wanted to be a Broadway star. Now, as each year passes, I’ve settled on being a karaoke diva. Reading and writing has always provided me with great comfort. It does not matter where you are physically or in life; you can read or write about where you want to go. I think that is why so many people, including myself, enjoy our articles. No matter if you are planning a trip or just wishing you could travel, it allows you to escape to that location, even if only for the moment you are engrossed in the text. I love working for RoadRUNNER and learn something new every day. I’m determined one day to find the time to learn to ride a motorcycle. My father was an avid rider, and seeing his love for it makes me look forward to the day when I can ride, too.
