MV Agusta Brutale 800 America

Italy gave the U.S. a special 4th of July gift: the limited edition 2017 Brutale 800 America. Based on the new three-cylinder Brutale 800, this newest edition pays tribute to MV’s America range from the 1970s.

The bike’s metallic red, white, and blue livery is matched by a star-studded motif on the tank, just like the one on the ’73 MV Agusta 750 S. Elsewhere, gloss black paintwork brings out component details, such as the front fender, which sports the MV Agusta logo. Even the America’s red seat has been specially designed to incorporate the livery theme, using gilt stitching to complement the finish of the tank.

Limited to a production of only 50 units to match the 50 states, the exclusivity of the motorcycle can be seen in the triple clamp with the laser cut sequential production number, alongside ‘America Special Edition.’ The same number can also be found on a specially framed certificate of authenticity that comes with each motorcycle.

The America edition offers all the same technical specifications as the 2017 Brutale 800 and will go on sale in July at an MSRP of $14,998 with a two-year warranty and two years of roadside assistance. The official unveiling of the special edition bike will take place July 7-9 at round eight of the World Superbike Championship in Laguna Seca, CA.
