pitstopIt may be hard to believe, but the Suzuki GSX-R line of sportbikes has now been with us for three decades. While most companies are content to celebrate such a milestone with a limited edition anniversary model with differentiating graphics and a hefty price (Suzuki currently offers two 30th anniversary GSX-R models) Suzuki is going above and beyond. Starting this weekend the company will begin a series of ten special anniversary events called “GSX-R 30 Years of Performance.” This weekend’s event takes place at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX, and coincides with the Red Bull GP of the Americas race. At COTA Suzuki will be on hand with a private hospitality area for Suzuki owners (not just GSX-R owners, but any Suzuki motorcycle, ATV, or scooter will do).

Suzuki owners are further encouraged to make a pit stop at Barger’s Allsports in Waco, TX, on their way to Austin on Saturday, April 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. At Barger’s owners will be treated to free food and drinks for themselves and a guest, free fuel for the bike, and a free quick service check of their ride.

Will you be heading to COTA for the weekend races?
