2015 Harley-Davidson Models: Beyond RushmoreStarting with the Project Rushmore models released about a year ago, Harley-Davidson has been releasing new and updated motorcycles at a rate rarely seen by the motor company (the Street 500 and 750 are the company’s first completely new bikes in 13 years). Most likely the Motor Company’s renewed vigor comes, at least partially, as a reaction to increased competition from brands like Indian. But whatever the driving force, the hits keep coming for 2015.

2015 Harley-Davidson Road Glide
After taking a year off, the Road Glide is back. Check out the details here.

2015 Harley-Davidson Models: Beyond RushmoreFreewheeler Trike
The second three-wheeler offered by Harley, the Freewheeler, is a much more minimalist trike than the Tri-Glide Ultra. The new trike is powered by HD’s air-cooled High-Output Twin Cam 103 engine and weighs in at 1,082 pounds ready to ride. The Freewheeler will start at $24,999 and should be in dealerships almost immediately.

CVO Street Glide
The big news here is that the new Street Glide now packs a 600(!) watt stereo system. Harley-Davidson describes the system’s volume as “shocking,” and we’ll leave it to the reader to discern whether that’s a good thing or not. The system features no fewer than 12 speakers powered by two 300-watt amplifiers. Propelling the bike is HD’s top of the line liquid-cooled Twin Cam 110 engine, and the CVO Street Glide features an extensive list of premium features and finishes to go with its hefty $36,349 starting price.

HD’s Low Models
Tailored to inseam challenged riders, the Motor Company has announced the Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low and the Ultra Limited Low. At 25.6 inches, the seat height of the two models is a full 1.7 inches lower than the standard models. Harley-Davidson claims this is the lowest seat height available on any premium-touring bike. The rest of the bike’s ergonomics have also been altered to better accommodate shorter riders. The Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low starts at $24,399 while the Ultra Limited Low goes for $26,999.

CVO Road Glide Ultra
Harley-Davidson calls the CVO Road Glide Ultra a super-premium touring motorcycle, and it proves it with a base price higher than a BMW 3-series sedan at $39,649. All that cash will get you the Screamin’ Eagle Twin Cam, Twin Cooled 110 motor, the BOOM! Box 6.5 GT infotainment system with 3D GPS, heated seats, 49mm forks, LED headlamps, and, of course, lots of chrome. The bike comes with eight different high-end paint options, linked brakes with ABS, and Slicer custom wheels.
