Harley-Davidson World Ride

Harley-Davidson World RideWhat began in 2008 as Million Mile Monday has now become Harley-Davidson’s annual two-day World Ride event. The idea is for motorcyclists (okay, Harley riders) to take a collective break from the daily rat race and “just ride.” This year’s World Ride will take place on Sunday, June 22nd and Monday, June 23rd and participants are encouraged to rack up as many miles as possible and log them at www.h-d.com/worldride. Last year the World Ride, which coincided with Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary as well as the 30th Anniversary for the Harley Owner’s Group (H.O.G.), compiled a total of over 10 million miles ridden, a 25-percent increase over the previous record.

Harley-Davidson’s Director of Integrated Consumer Experience, Nigel Villers, says, “For these two days riders will unite to blow off the daily grind and celebrate that being free is a lot more fun. Riding is more appreciated when you can steal the time from something you’d rather not be doing, so let the meetings and honey-dos wait until Tuesday and just ride.”

Do you agree and will you be participating in the Harley-Davidson World Ride?
