Signed Indian Chieftain Tank to be Auctioned for Charity If you’re a collector of artifacts from motorcycling history, feel like supporting a worthy cause, or both, you’re in luck. The designers, engineers, and developers responsible for creating the new Indian lineup for Polaris (along with Polaris’ CEO, Scott Wine) have all autographed an Indian Chieftain fuel tank, which is up for auction to benefit the Twin Cities YMCA (Polaris’ headquarters are in nearby Medina, MN). The tank, which is housed in a Plexiglas display case, will be up for bid through January 31, 2014. (Reserve is set at $5,000.) All proceeds will go to help at-risk youth participate in positive activities (including power sports).
