In 2012 RoadRUNNER’s Florian Neuhauser attended AltRider’s annual Conserve the Ride weekend rally in Pennsylvania. He had a fantastic time, which you can read about here. For 2014, Conserve the Ride is sticking with the same great formula. The event begins Friday, June 6, 2014 with various riding competitions and an optional training class before all the participants gather for a tasty catered dinner. Saturday starts off with a delicious breakfast before the riders break up into groups based on skill and off-road experience. The day will be spent adventure riding through the forests, dirt roads, and trials of central Pennsylvania. Saturday night will conclude with a pig roast and festivities around the campfire. Sunday will see everyone enjoying another hearty breakfast, breaking down their campsites, and heading home. The cost for the weekend is $289, which includes two nights of camping, five meals, GPS routes, adult beverages, seminars, giveaways, and more. All proceeds will go to benefit the Seven Mountain Conservation Corps (SMCC), a non-profit organization committed to preserving Pennsylvania’s trails and woods for motorcyclists.
