Harley-Davidson Men’s Constrictor Pull-On Harness Motorcycle Boots

The Harley-Davidson Constrictor boots provide attractive bad-boy styling without going over the top­. Crafted in full-grain leather, the uppers are ten inches tall and the heel height is 1.25 inches. Full-length cushion sock linings provide heel to toe padding for comfort. Inside zippers make getting into and out of the boots a snap. The outsoles are simulated leather, but rubber soles provide street side traction and are repairable if worn or damaged. Goodyear Welt construction provides extra durability; weight is five pounds.

Some purchasers have reported that the boots often run about a half size larger than expected for similarly designated boots or shoes. In my case, though, the fit was just fine and I found the boots comfortable for both walking and riding. Their leather covering is both high quality and supple. Although the boots are attractive, comfortable, and easy to put on and take off, their level of foot protection, in the event of a crash, is limited. They have no armor or other internal reinforcement. I personally prefer to wear these attractively styled boots on casual occasions and for short, around-town motorcycle trips.
