It’s the End of the World as we Know it

The End of the World as we Know itWe interrupt the Internet to bring you this important announcement—the end is nigh. We repeat—the end is nigh, the world is coming to an end, according to some that have (mis?) interpreted the Mayan calendar, and there is very little time to prepare. As I see it, there are limited options:

Option One: Buy the awesomest and most desirable bike you can imagine – you know, the one that haunts your dreams. Throw it onto your credit card and spend your last days on Earth scorching the pavement. It’s winter in the Northern Hemisphere so you may have to fly to South America and/or South Africa. No worries, throw that on the credit card too; there won’t be any payments due in January because there won’t be a January. So call you dealer now…

Option Two: Make plans now to survive the end of the world and get all the gear necessary—the right bike, the right provisions, and a can opener—in order to scratch out an existence in a post-apocalyptic zombie-infested landscape (think Mad Max meets Dawn of the Dead). The good folks over at Reddit/r/motorcycles have shared some ideas. What are yours?

The biggest question for either of those options is—what bike? Share your thoughts. Hurry, there’s not a lot of time!
