Evaporative Cooling 6529 HyperKewl™ Standard Sport Vest

Even with the best all-weather gear available, when summer hits riding can sometimes feel unbearable. So when the temps recently soared during a particularly hot tour in South Carolina, it was the perfect opportunity to try out the HyperKewl™ Sport Vest.

Designed to gradually release water through evaporation, the V-neck vest with zipper closure keeps you cool and comfortable. Quilted nylon exterior covers an inner fabric constructed with HyperKewl polymer, distributed evenly throughout. When water is added, the fabric swells uniformly, without becoming bulky.

With temps averaging between 85 and 100 degrees, I stopped for gas and soaked my HyperKewl vest. I wrung out the excess water and put it on – really, I couldn’t believe the difference. Instead of hot and sweaty, I felt cool, and I managed to stay that way for several hours. If you expect to ride in hot climates, you’ll definitely want the HyperKewl vest in your wardrobe.
