RoadRUNNER Touring Weekend 2008 Was A Great Success

RoadRUNNER Magazine’s 2008 Touring Weekend and Christian Neuhauser Memorial Ride and Dinner were a big success this past weekend. Over 100 riders participated, some from as far away as Ontario, Canada. With the exception of a little morning fog, weather both Saturday and Sunday were perfect for the scenic tours through the beautiful Shenandoah Valley and into “Wild and Wonderful” West Virginia. The routes traveled had plenty of curves and very little traffic, prompting big grins from riders and passengers alike.

In addition to going on the two all-day guided tours, riders followed one or more self-guided tours, attended fun, but informative seminars and dined on delicious food, all while enjoying the camaraderie of other like-minded motorcycle enthusiasts pursuing their passion.

We couldn’t be more pleased with the turnout of this year’s touring weekend and the unprecedented number of riders that joined us for this event. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting and talking with everyone!

We look forward to planning an even better event in 2009! To that end, we invite your feedback and comments on this year’s Touring Weekend, as well as suggestions for future RoadRUNNER rallies in the “Feedback” section of the forum.

Ride participants who would like to share their digital photographs with others, can upload their pictures to a service such as Flickr (www.flickr.com) or Google Picasa (picasa.google.com) and then post them on our forum (forum.roadrunner.travel).

Due to high demand, we are also taking orders for additional RoadRUNNER Touring Weekend T-shirts. The price including shipping to the USA and Canada is $18.00 each.
To order, please visit www.roadrunner.travel/store. Orders must be placed by July 25th, 2008.
