Second Annual Christian Neuhauser Memorial Ride

Festivities began at the dinner hosted at the Village Inn in Clemmons, North Carolina by Christa Neuhauser for riders arriving on the evening of July 13, 2007. Much to the delight of the 65 riders from Wisconsin, Maryland, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina, who were gathered early Saturday at the Village Inn, weather conditions were perfect: moderate temperature, clear skies and low humidity. After introductory remarks by Christa and Senior Editor Chris Myers, riders mounted up and headed for the Blue Ridge Parkway. Everyone had worked-up quite an appetite by the time they arrived in the quaint village of Blowing Rock, NC for the catered lunch. Still buzzing from the ride, everyone had a wonderful time at dinner reliving the day’s events. There could be no more fitting tribute to Christian Neuhauser, the Founder of RoadRUNNER Magazine, than a day spent riding in the mountains, breaking bread with other riders, and the camaraderie that comes from a family of motorcyclists, united by a common purpose, riding together.

We’re already discussing plans for next year’s gathering, so mark the weekend of July 14th 2008 on your calendar. We’ll look forward to seeing you “saddle up” with us next year.

Don’t miss the next memorial ride, so register now to enjoy the trip with us next time.
